Mechanic Connect was born out of a real Jamaican problem: finding a trustworthy mechanic, getting a fair price, and not wasting time driving around or making endless calls. Our mission is simple — to make auto repairs easier, more transparent, and more reliable for everyone.

We understand Jamaican roads and the real challenges of keeping a vehicle running. That’s why we built a platform that puts you in control. With Mechanic Connect, you can request a service, receive quotes, choose your preferred professional, and pay securely — all in one place.

Your payment is handled inside the app and is only released to the mechanic after you confirm the job is completed. This creates peace of mind for customers and fairness for service providers.

Mechanic Connect is proudly powered by OH-PEL AUTO LIMITED, a Jamaican auto parts and service company with over a decade of industry experience. Through this partnership, we also help make parts sourcing faster and more reliable when needed.

More than just an app, Mechanic Connect is building a trusted community of vehicle owners, garages, and mechanics across Jamaica — helping service providers grow their businesses while giving customers a better, safer experience.

We operate a fair and sustainable platform model. Customers pay no platform or booking fees. Mechanics and garages pay a platform commission that is capped, with a minimum of JMD 500 per job and a maximum of JMD 25,000 per job, and the effective percentage decreases as job value increases. Early Partner garages enjoy discounted rates during their first 60 days on the platform.

Mechanics and garages are paid securely through the app. Standard payouts are processed twice per week, every Wednesday and Friday. For those who need faster access to their funds, next-business-day payouts are available for a small processing fee.
